MONOCOTS

Monocots and dicots can be distinguished trough their structural features including the flower, leaf, root, and stem. But the difference also starts from the very beginning of their life cycle, which is the seed.

This is the first picture that i took. If we look at it closely, the leaves are long and narrow, with their veins going straight in one direction, which is identified as monocots. Another thing about this plant is that it's unbranched and flashy, which also identifies as monocots. It's the same thing for this plant on the right. As we can see from the leaves, it's long and narrow, it also has the veins run from the centre of the leave to the edge and they're parallel to each other. The stem for monocots are usually unbranched, and they don't grow thicker as the year goes by. unlike dicots, where their stem can grow thicker and tough year by year. Another thing is that if the plant grow flowers, (sorry i don't have the pic ms) it must be in threes.
